Isn't there a solution to end the separation of the Alawis and the Sunnis?
The only solution to solve these separations is to stick to the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him); because the Quran and the Sunnah were both sent as remedy to all the spiritual and material diseases of humankind. As communities can be saved from all kinds of troubles and hardships by sticking to them, they can also be saved from the swamp they are stuck in by holding fast to these two strong ropes.
The biggest proof of this we have is that the Age of Bliss sparkled like a diamond out of that pitch-dark age of ignorance.
As an example, we will hereby give only some of the many verses and Hadiths from the Quran and the Sunnah that are recited to solve separations:
God Almighty states, Be not as those who split into parties and followed different ways after the manifest truths had come to them. Those are the ones for whom is a tremendous punishment. (Al-'Imran Surah, 3:105).

It is also stated, The believers are but brothers, so make peace between your brothers and keep from disobedience to God in reverence for Him and piety (particularly in your duties toward one another as brothers), so that you may be shown mercy (granted a good, virtuous life in the world as individuals and as a community, and eternal happiness in the Hereafter). (Al-Hujurat Surah, 49:10).
As is understood from the verse, in the event of a discord among them, God Almighty commands the believers to try to solve it. Thus, He forbids Muslims from negative conducts that cause mischief to continue and that set Muslims quarreling. Alawis-Sunnis, all Muslims should obey this commandment and endeavor together for the healing of this wound.
There is no problem that does not have a solution in our religion; provided that separations are dealt with in mutual understanding, the subject is approached with mercy and knowledge is taken as the standard instead of feelings.
All Sunni Muslims living in this country dearly love Ali (may God be pleased with him) and the Family of the Prophet. However, this love is within a measure. They neither attribute divinity nor prophethood to them nor deny their value and honor.
When we look into the history, we see that the Alawis somehow overlooked this affection, on the contrary they withdrew from the Sunnis calling them Yazid. On the other hand, we also see that the Sunnis did not really pay attention to warning and trying to explain and convince them and that they used wrong methods. In reality, the Alawis were not embraced with mercy saying they are also our brothers., they were not addressed in the proper style and with nice advice, and religious education was not properly brought to them by presenting them with elevated truths of religion and talking with them about these truths.
On the other hand, we also see that the state also does not pay due attention to this artificial separation and neglects in Alawi settlements such services as building mosques, opening Quran courses and appointing preachers.
This being the case, the Alawis also overemphasized the issue with criticism and provocation and made this separation a wound difficult to heal.
The people whose religion, language and nation are one in essence, and who have the same history and culture and live on the same motherland has gradually become enemies against one another.
We think that today, if the Department of Religious Affairs at first, then all intellectual and distinguished people of our country canalize all their efforts into removing this separation, then unity and solidarity may be established again and foreign-based intrigues may be annulled.
God Almighty commands believers to fulfill this duty: There must be among you a community calling to good, and enjoining and actively promoting what is right and forbidding and trying to prevent evil (in appropriate ways). They are those who are the prosperous. (Al-'Imran Surah, 3:104)
A believer should love his believing brother even if he is wrong and try to remove his mistake. Believers should be as cautious as a doctor in dealing with discords among themselves. They should heal these wounds with great understanding, tolerance, and patience.
Our religion is the source of mercy and compassion. Having benefited from this source, we Muslims should advise our vicinity in a state of soul suited to this mercy and try to present them peace and bliss.

God proclaims the best measure in this issue in the Quran:
Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and argue with them in the best way possible. (An-Nahl Surah, 16:125)
Taking lesson form such verses, Prophet Muhammad would call to the right path with wisdom and knowledge and would base his arguments on proofs.
He would not show anger and aggression in his speech. He would welcome his addressees in a warm manner and would advise them with mercy and compassion. He would always prefer soft and kind words. He would remove doubts and hesitations with great patience and understanding.
He would regard his addressees and speak clearly and articulately. Even if the questions asked were irrelevant, he would respond to them with a smile and take them seriously. One of the biggest reasons of the impact his sermons and advice had was that he would forgive mistakes and pardon people.
Moreover, at the time of the conquest of Mecca, he forgave the ones who martyred his beloved uncle and his many other relatives and companions and the ones who had them killed. However, that day he was the victorious and could punish them as he wished.
He thus affected souls, roused and developed their capacities and abilities from the seed to the fruit. He made them each a star on the sky of humankind.
In one of his Hadiths, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the master of both worlds, who is sent as a blessing for the worlds says, Believers are like bricks of a building. They protect one another from collapsing. and thus eloquently emphasizes the importance of affection and fraternity among believers.
Our nation has long suffered great damage by discords, clashes, and rebellions. The renowned Jalali rebellions that continued for years, the Dersim movement we experienced in the recent past and the incidents of Sivas, Maraş, and Çorum are the clearest and unfortunate proofs of this. The prominent cause of all these events has been our enemies outside and they benefited from it most.
