Adem Tatlı (Prof. Dr.)
He was born in Küçükköy, a village in Korkuteli, Antalya in 1947. He finished elementary school in his village, middle school in Korkuteli, high school at Aydın Ortaklar Teacher Training High School and Ankara Higher Teacher Training School Prep Class. He graduated from the Biology Department of Ankara University, Faculty of Science and from Ankara Higher Teacher Training School in 1970.
He worked as a teacher at Tokat Teacher Training School in from 1970 to 1971. He started to work as a lecturer in February 1971 at Atatürk University Basic Sciences College. He became an assistant in botany in 1972. He completed his doctor's degree at Ankara University Faculty of Science in 1975. After finishing his short-term military service in 1975, he lived in Manchester, England from 1978 to 1979 to do research in his branch. He became an associate professor in 1982. He became a professor in 1988 and was appointed as the Head of the Biology Department at Selçuk University.
He was the vice rector between 1993 and 1996 at Dumlupınar University and the dean of the Faculty of Science and Letters. He worked as the director of Dumlupınar University Health College from 1997 to 1998; he was the director of the Environmental Problems Research and Application Center between 1998 and 2004. He also worked as a member of Board of Universities, General Assembly of Credit and Dormitories Institution, executive boards and senates of various universities, faculty boards and faculty executive boards.
