Cemil Tokpınar
Cemil Tokpınar, whose books have broken sales record recently, was born in Afyon, Bolvadin in 1962.After finishing imam khatib high school there, he started Marmara University Faculty of Theology. He graduated from university in 1985.
He started to work for Yeni Nesil newspaper in 1985. He worked as a reporter, columnist and manager there for 15 years. His articles were published in periodicals called Köprü, Beyan, Moral Dünyası, Vuslat and Genç Yaklaşım.
Having written articles and books on various topics, Cemil Tokpınar focuses on the problems of youth and family, and the issue of practical solutions in practicing the religion.
He translated Jawshan, Tasbihat and Bigger Jawshan; his books entitled Işıktan Çiçekler (Flowers Made of Light), Gençlerle Biz Bize (Together with Young People) and Peygamberimizin Diliyle Gençlik (Youth with the Words of the Prophet) were published in 1996.
