Is weather forecasting, knowing the Gayb- Unknown?

In the Surah Luqman, it is stated as, With God alone rests the knowledge of the Last Hour (when it will come). He sends down rain (just at the time and place He alone knows), and He alone knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will reap tomorrow, and no soul knows in what place it will die. Surely God is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Luqman Surah, 31:34) So, is there any contradiction between forecasting weather and the verse? Do weather forecasters know Gayb -the Unknown?

God did not leave the time of precipitation up with the general laws and causes, but He took its generation upon His Might and Will Power. Whereas, He does vice versa in His other acts.

Rain is the source of life, and the means of Mercy. There are no certain laws for rain. That is to say, Divine Wisdom did not enact a law for rain in order not to close the door of supplication. Water, which is a necessity for the survival of the most glorious creature and the Caliph of the earth, human, comes by Hydrologic Cycle, which is the constant circulation of water between hydrosphere, biosphere, and the atmosphere. The water vapor or steam leaves the certain area of the landscape, goes into the air and the rain falls onto the land. It is not known when rainfall an area will get.

In that case, can we talk about the accuracy of the weather science? Is it useless to spend huge amounts to prepare weather forecast reports?

In fact, weather science does not know the Unknown. It only allows prediction with the help of apprehension and science that God condescends to us. In addition, this is done by looking at the meteorological maps, not by looking into the sky. It is going to be understood clearly, if we go further into that.

Presently, meteorology of the whole world countries is like a family. Meteorological time, international observation codes, symbols of the meteorological events are all same in everywhere. Meteorology is almost like an individual language spoken in every country. In every main synoptical observation times 00 06 12 18, as we define it, Greenwich Mean Time, every observation station in the world send encrypted observation codes to their national centers and after checking the accuracy of the results, these are sent to International Meteorology Data Centers. And these centers send the observation data via radiofax and computers. Finally, these data are processed into meteorological maps by computers in which countries are only represented by numerical codes

At this point, it is now time for prediction. As it is clearly seen, there is no such a thing as knowing the Unknown. Interpreted data on the maps are collected from every station in the world at the same time. In other words, it is only predicting when will a certain point get rainfall, by measuring the speed of the air current that carries the rain at a more western longitude. Today, most developed countries have network of weather radars, which detect the signatures of air currents.

Although to the improvements in weather science, hundred percent right predictions are still so hard to make. Especially, as much as time delays, it is much harder to get precise predictions in forecast. One of the most confusing weather events is convectional rain, which precipitates indecisively in spring times. During those times, prediction accuracy of the weather forecasts percentage decreases to sixty percents.

Even if it is looked at it from weather science perspective, improvements in science and technology only show our insolvency. In conclusion, science can only detect symptoms, which can be seen in material world, not the Unknown that can be only known by God.
