Sayın Dalkıran (Prof. Dr.)
He was born in Uşak/Banaz in 1960; he finished Banaz Kızılcasöğüt Elementary School in 1971 and Banaz Kızılcasöğüt Middle School in1974. After finishing Manisa Demirci Religious High School in 1978, Sayın Dalkıran graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Theology.
He worked as a teacher of Religious Culture and Ethics at Kartal Commercial School for a while in the same year. He completed his doctorate with his thesis called "İbn-i Kemalin Düşünce Tarihimizdeki Yeri" (the Place of Ibn Kemal in Our History of Thought) at Harran University Social Sciences Institute in 1995.
He worked as an academician at Sütçü Imam University Faculty of Science and Letters from 1993 to 1997; He became an assistant professor at Atatürk University Erzincan Vocational College of Theology in 1997.
Sayın Dalkıran, who became an associate professor in 1990 and a professor in 2005, worked as a vice principal at Atatürk University Erzincan Vocational College of Theology, a member of the Executive Board of Atatürk University Erzincan Vocational College of Theology, Head of the History of Islamic Sects at Atatürk University Faculty of Theology, a member of the Executive Board of Atatürk University Faculty of Theology and Deputy Head of the Basic Islamic Sciences at Atatürk University Faculty of Theology.
Sayın Dalkıran is currently working as an academician at the Faculty of Basic Islamic Sciences of the same faculty; he is also the Dean of Erzincan Faculty of Theology. He is married with three children. He can speak Arabic and English very well.
