Şadi Eren (Prof. Dr.)

Şadi Eren was born in Manisa/Gördes in 1962. He attended Atatürk University Faculty of Theology between 1981 and 1986. He worked as a teacher of religious subjects at Diyarbakır Merkez Religious High Schoolbetween 1988 and 1992. 

Along with teaching, he did his doctorate with the thesis called "Kur' an'da Gayp Bilgisi" (Knowledge of the Unknown in the Quran) at Tafsir Departmentof Atatürk UniversitySocial Sciences Institute between 1989 and 1994. He attended an Arabic course at Ankara State Language School from 1992 to 1993. 

He worked as a teacher of religious subjects at Ankara/Çamlıdere Religious High School from 1993 to 1994. He became an assistant professor at Tafsir Departmentof Erzincan Theology College in November 1994 and an associate professor in November 1998. He worked at Rotterdam Islamic University from 2000 to 2003. He is married with three children. 

He wrote articles for newspapers and periodicals, and books. Some of his published books are:
