The Key

The Key (Official Lyric Video)

The Key
By Sami Yusuf
In Andalucian morning light
In seas of azure, in dawning skies
I watch you bloom, the birth of spring
You are the song that all lovers sing
You are the key holding me in

I am a prisoner, I can't escape
The key is inside the forms you take
You are the web I cannot spin
You are the pulse beneath my skin
You are the key holding me in

Your love is a door I cannot find
The only way out is from deep inside
I'm humbled by the light you take
When you cover every colour of the day
I'm brightened by the night you bring
You are the divine eternal ring
You are the end where everything begins
You are the key holding me in

I'm humbled by the light you take
When you cover every colour of the day
Illuminated in the night you bring
You are the divine eternal ring
You are the end where everything begins
You are the key holding me in
The only key holding me in

What You've Become

What You've Become

What You've Become
By Tom Robertson (ft. Sami Yusuf)
I know your troubled story
A tale that’s full of sadness and woe
But I believe you’ll smile again
You see I know the pain you’re feeling
‘Cause I was there just like you before
And I know where it’s leading

Hold on
There’s nothing standing in your way you can
Be strong
So show the world what you can do and just
Walk on
Don’t ever doubt the inner voice in you
Life’s long
They’ll live to see what you’ve become

You feel like you’re the outcast
Sometimes it’s better to be alone
Than to be with the bad crowd
Preserve your mind and feed it
Nourish what it is you have inside
Use it in the right way

Hold on
There’s nothing standing in your way you can
Be strong
So show the world what you can do and just
Walk on
Don’t ever doubt the inner voice in you
Life’s long
They’ll live to see what you’ve become

Nothing standing in your way
Show the world what you can do
Don’t doubt the voice that’s in you
They’ll live to see what you’ve become.

Fiyyashiyya

Fiyyashiyya

Fiyyashiyya
By Sami Yusuf

A humble slave am I of an almighty Lord
No work is too hard for that One who’s adored
But though I’m a beggar who cannot afford
To claim any strength, sure and strong is my Lord

He says, where He wills, when He wishes a thing
Just “Be”, and it is, by the might of a King
The ruler whose edicts and wise rulings
bring All blessings and grace by the might of a King

I haven’t got the force
No strength between my sides
Why feel such remorse
When the Maker provides?

I haven’t got the force
No strength between my sides
Why feel such remorse
When the Maker provides?

Ana ‘abdu Rabbi lahu qudratun
Yahunu biha kullu ’amrin ‘asir
Fa’in kuntu ‘abdan da‘ifa lquwa
FaRabbi ‘ala kulli shay’in qadir

Minni ash ‘alaya wa ana ‘abadun mamluk
Wal’ashya’ maqadiya ma fi ttahqiqi shukuk
Rabbi nazir fiya wa ana nazari matruk
Fi l’arham wa l’ahsha’ min nutfa sawwarani

I haven’t got the force

No strength between my sides
Why feel such remorse
When the Maker provides?

Ana ma li fiyash, ash ‘alaya minni
Aqliq mirrizqi lash, walKhaliq yarzuqni
Allahumma salli ‘ala lMustafa, Habibna Muhammad ‘alayhi ssalam

Wherever You Are

Wherever You Are

Wherever You Are
By Sami Yusuf

My best times
Were when I felt close to you
But everything fell apart
The moment I strayed from you

In each smile
In every single sigh
Every minute detail
Traces of you are found there

Wherever you are I'll find you
Cause you're the one I turn to
Wherever you be I'll be with you
Cause you're the one my heart is to
I need you

To see your smile
I would pass every trial
Desperately I await
For the day when I'm by your side

Wherever you are I'll find you
Cause you're the one I turn to
Wherever you are I'll follow you

Cause you're the one I turn to
Wherever you be I'll be with you
Cause you're the one my love is to
My love is to

In every minute detail,
Traces of u are found there,

In every step that I take,
My longing becomes so clear...
I'll follow you anywhere,
I'll overcome every fear,

Anything just to be near, To be near.
To be near.

Wherever you may be
I'll follow till I see

In my heart you will be
Your love is all I need

In every single smile
Every single sigh

Every minute detail
Traces of you are there

Wherever you may be
I will search till we meet

In my heart, you will be
Your love is all I need

Wherever you may be

Silent Words

Silent Words

Silent Words
By Sami Yusuf

Beyond the lines of no man's land
Time stands still
My voice is weak, but far away, I softly speak
In silent words, on folded knees

With silent words, we call the night
To bring you sleep & dry your eyes
To bring you dreams & free your minds

When every hope has gone, we hold on
With silent words, we'll ask the dawn
To chase your fears when nights are long

A million voices into one
When every hope has gone
We echo all night through
With silent words, we are with you

Where seeds were thrown, and taken far
A desert blooms a world apart
And while their roots are far from home

We whisper words to help them grow

With every tear you cry, we'll comfort you
Standing by your side, as one with you

You can find us, deep in the silence
carried in the soft winds passing through

We'll be your shadow, today and tomorrow
There to follow everything you do

الهي، أدخل السرور

الهي، خفف الآلام
Lord, alleviate the pain
Illahi khafif al-alaam

Your Mother

Your Mother

Your Mother

By Yusuf Islam

Who should I give my love to?
My respect and my honor to
Who should I pay good mind to?
After Allah
And Rasulullah

Comes your mother
Who next? Your mother
Who next? Your mother
And then your father

Cause who used to hold you
And clean you and clothes you
Who used to feed you?
And always be with you
When you were sick
Stay up all night
Holding you tight
That's right no other
Your mother (My mother)

Who should I take good care of?
Giving all my love
Who should I think most of?
After Allah
And Rasulullah

Comes your mother
Who next? Your mother
Who next? Your mother
And then your father

Cause who used to hear you
Before you could talk
Who used to hold you?
Before you could walk
And when you fell who picks you up
Clean your cut
No one but your mother
My mother

Who should I stay right close to?
Listen most to
Never say no to
After Allah
And Rasulullah

Comes your mother
Who next? Your mother
Who next? Your mother
And then your father

Cause who used to hug you
And buy you new clothes
Comb your hair
And blow your nose
And when you cry
Who wiped your tears?
Knows your fears
Who really cares?
My mother

Say Alhamdulillah
Thank you Allah
Thank you Allah
For my mother.

The Beloved

The Beloved

The Beloved

By Yusuf Islam

His wisdom flowed from heaven's book
Just like threaded pearls,
Just like threaded pearls

He left his self to flee to God
And God sent him back to us

He was born to be the beloved
A will of the Divine
He was born to be the beloved,
He was born to guide

He prayed all his nights alone
And stars and angels sighed
And in the day he lead the way
With blazing words so bright

He was born to be the beloved
A will of the Divine
He was born to be the beloved,
He was born to be kind

He taught the people to worship
Bowing to one God,
Bowing to one God

His mercy stretched from East to West
To every man, woman and child

He was born to be the beloved-
A will of the Divine
He was born to be the beloved,
Nature Sublime

He opened up the doors of love
For every heart parched with thirst
He was a mercy to the words
And unto the human births

He was born to be the beloved
A will of the Divine
He was born to be the beloved,
He was born to guide

Seal of the Prophets

Seal of the Prophets

Seal of the Prophets

By Yusuf Islam

He was a guide for all people
And the mercy to the universe
He was a guide for all people
God's peace and blessings on him

He was a seal of the prophet
The last brick in the house of prophethood
He was the last of the prophets
God's peace and blessings on him

He was a patron of the poor
Always helping widows and orphans
A great patron of the poor
God's peace and blessings on him

He was a striver against evil
And he fought and he won
To give rights all people
God's peace and blessings on him

He was a stranger to this world
For his aim was the hereafter
He kept little for this world
God's peace and blessings on him
