What are the Miracles of the Quran? Will you give examples?

What are the Miracles of the Quran? Will you give examples?

Every verse of the Quran is a miracle. Therefore, it is impossible to narrate all of the miracles in the Quran here. Some of them are as follows:
1- The verse“Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars” (ar-Ra’d, 2) refuted the wrong belief that the skies stood thanks to mountains.
2-The creation of the universe is narrated as follows in the Quran: “He created the heavens and the earth out of nothing” (al-An’am, 101). This verse informed us 1400 years ago about the truth that the whole universe, with its dimensions of place and time, formed as a result of a big bang, which is the final point that the science has reached today.
3-The fact that the universe is continuously expanding is a scientific discovery that the world of science accept today. The Quran indicates it with the following verse: “With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof” (adh-Dhariyat, 47)
4-Another discovery of the 20th century is that each star and celestial body moves in an orbit. The Quran states it as follows: “It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along each in its rounded course..” (al-Anbiya, 33)
5-In the past, it was thought that the sun was fixed. However, the Quran states that the sun is not fixed; on the contrary, it states that the sun is a celestial body that continuously moves at a certain speed. The science approved the Quran after centuries.  The related verse is as follows: “And the Sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him) the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing..”(Ya Seen, 38)
The Geological Miracle in the Quran:
Decrease in the Amount of Land:
Allah informs us some of His secrets about His creation in the Quran that He sent down 14 centuries ago. Those secrets both prove that the Quran is the word of Allah and paves the way for the development in natural sciences.
“See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders?...”(ar-Rad, 41)
“...see they not that we gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders?...” (al-Anbiya, 44)
With global warming, the ice layers in the poles are melting and the sea level in the oceans is increasing. The remaining amount of water covers more land. As the seashores are covered by water, the total surface area of the world and the amount of land are decreasing. (Dr. Mazhar U. Kazi, 130 Evident Miracles in the Qur'an, Crescent Publishing House, New York, USA, 1998, s. 115) It is possible that the words “we gradually reduce the land from its outlying borders mentioned” mentioned in the Quran points to the seashores covered by water.
The news regarding the issue published in New York Times is as follows:
Over the last century, the average surface temperature of the globe has risen by about 1 degree Fahrenheit, and the rate of warming has accelerated in the last quarter century. Scientists compared data from submarines in the 1950's and 60's with 90's observations, demonstrating that the ice cover over the entire Arctic basin has thinned by 45 percent. Satellite images have revealed that the extent of ice coverage has significantly shrunk in recent years. (New York Times, August 19, 2000)
The discoveries made at the end of 20th century helped us to understand the wisdom in the 44th verse of the chapter al-Anbiya and the 41st verse of the chapter ar-Rad.
Drifting of the Continents
The Earth’s crust moves on the mantle layer, which is denser, as if it swims. A German scientist named Alfred Wegener discovered for the first time at the beginning of the 20th century that all of the continents in the world were together in the first periods and that they were drifted toward different directions and were separated and moved away from each other.
About 500 million years ago, all of the continents in the world were connected to each other, and that big land called pangea was located in the South Pole. About 180 million years ago, the pangea was separated into two. In the first one of those, two giants continents that were drifted toward different directions, Africa, Australia, Antarctica and India formed; in the second one, Europe, North America and Asia except India formed.
It was calculated that the movement of the continents was about 1 to 5 cm/year. As the layers move like that, changes happen in the world geography. For instance, the Atlantic Ocean is expanding year by year. (Carolyn Sheets, Robert Gardner,Samuel F. Howe, General Science, Allyn and Bacon Inc.Newton, Massachusetts, 1985, p. 305)
Allah mentioned the movement of the mountains as “drifting”. The English term that scientists use for that movement is "continental drift".
“Thou seest the mountains and thinkest them firmly fixed: but they shall pass away as the clouds pass away...”(an-Naml, 88)
The World Consists of Seven Layers:
Some of the information in the Quran given by Allah about the earth is that the earth and the sky is similar in that both have seven layers: “Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number …” (at-Talaq, 12)
Our Lord stated that the earth and the sky consisted of seven layers. The result that science has found after centuries long geological researches turned out to be the same.
The layers of the earth that scientists list are as follows: Hydrosphere, Lithosphere, Asthenosphere, Upper Mantle, Lower Mantle, Outer Core and Inner Core:
The Hydrosphere consists of the upper parts of the seas and oceans and the land shores that are affected by them. The Lithosphere is the solid rock layer that forms the upper layer of the earth. When it is compared to the other layers, it is thinner, colder and harder; therefore, it functions as the crust of the earth.
Under the Lithosphere, lies the layer of the Asthenosphere. This layer consists of hot, semi-solid materials that can melt when it is exposed to high heat and pressure. It is thought that the hard layer of the Lithosphere floats or moves on the layer of the Asthenosphere, which moves slowly. Under this layer, lies another layer that consists of semi-solid rocks and that is very hot; it is 2.900 km thick and it is called the Mantle. The Mantle, which contains more iron, magnesium and calcium than the crust, is hotter and denser because the heat and the pressure inside the world increase in parallel with the depth.
In the center of the world lies the Core, which is almost twice denser than the Mantle. The cause of this density is the fact that it contains more metals (iron-nickel alloys) than rocks. The Core of the earth consists of two separate parts. One of them is the liquid outer core, which is 2.200 km thick; the other is the solid outer core, which is 1.250 km thick. As the world rotates, the liquid outer core forms the magnetic field of the world.
The most important of all is that those scientific realities that could be determined only by the technology of the 20th century was present in the Quran, which are only a few of the many miracles of the Quran.
The Earth that Opens out:
By the Firmament which returns (in its round), And by the Earth which opens out.” (at-Tariq, 11-12)
The Arabic word ‘sada’ mentioned in the verse means cracking, opening out, separating, etc. The fact that Allah swears by the opening out of the earth is another miracle of the Quran.
The scientists went down to the depths of the seas and oceans in order to search the mineral resources in 1945-46 for the first time. One of the most remarkable points of the researches was the cracks and fractures in the structure of the earth. The rocky layer on the outer surface of the earth had north-south and east-west directions and was cracked with many wide fault lines tens of thousands of kilometers long. Thanks to that cracked structure of the earth, a great amount of heat is released out and most of the molten rocks form the hills in the oceans. If the earth did not have the structure that enabled great amounts of heat to go out, life in the world would be impossible because, in this case, the heat that could not find a place to go out under the crust of the earth would cause substantial amounts of negative nuclear effects.
